Eating healthy and exercising regularly is important for looking and feeling your best. Results take time, but it is worth the effort. But what if we were to tell you that you can get the trim, tight, toned abs you wanted in under a month? At Back to 30®, such results are possible. Our locations in Boiling Springs and Greenville, SC now offer Emsculpt, a cosmetic treatment to burn belly fat and improve definition of your abs.
Let’s consider how Emsculpt works and why it may be the solution you’ve been waiting for. Thanks to its safe and tested technology, you can eliminate belly fat while also giving your abs a workout that would be impossible at the gym.
Emsculpt is a non-surgical procedure designed to tighten and tone the abs while also burning unwanted belly fat. In just 30 minutes, a patient will do the equivalent of 20,000 crunches as they lay on their back. Emsculpt is safe and approved by the FDA for the strengthening and toning of the abdominal muscles.
Emsculpt uses high-intensity electromagnetic energy that is focused on the abdominal area. The electromagnetic energy is where the “Em” in Emsculpt comes from. This electromagnetic energy triggers supramaximal contractions in the abs. These intense pulses and contractions could never be achieved through crunches and sit ups alone.
The muscles release localized chemicals while they are strengthened and thickened. The fat cells in the abdominal area break down in response.
Good candidates for Emsculpt are people who have unwanted belly fat around the upper and lower abdomen. They should be in generally good health and understand the risks and benefits associated with the procedure.
Emsculpt is not recommended for pregnant women, people with pacemakers, or individuals who have any metal plates of objects in their body.
Emsculpt treatment feels like an intense workout without the sweating and panting and moving around. Patients lie down on their back as the Emsculpt system causes their abs to experience hundreds to thousands of contractions in just a few seconds.
Patients will see and fell their abdominal muscles tighten and tingle in response to the electromagnetic energy. The process is not painful, though the sensation may take a bit of getting used to.
For most patients, four 30-minute Emsculpt sessions spaced a few days apart will be ideal for optimal outcomes. During your consultation at our Greenville practice, we can discuss the right number of treatment sessions and schedule them with you.
The results of Emsculpt can be dramatic. In just four sessions, you ca see results that make it appear as if you have been eating clean and exercising regularly for several months. Your abs will be tighter and stronger, and the unwanted fat along the front of the abs will have melted away.
Patients should start to see results about a day or two after their first Emsculpt session. The final results of Emculpt treatment will be apparent two to four weeks after the final Emsculpt session. These results can be maintained by eating healthy and staying active.
